2FA app

Your phone as the second step

The WWWveilig app confirms it is really you when you sign in. One tap to approve, or a six-digit code if you happen to have no signal, for every application you link.

For iPhone and Android · coming soon to the App Store and Google Play

How it works

  1. Link

Scan the QR code that the application shows you. From then on, that application is in the app, with its own secret key.

  2. Sign in

You get a notification on your phone. Tap the number shown on the screen you are signing in on, and the request is approved.

  3. No signal?

Read the six-digit code in the app and enter it. These codes work even when your phone has no internet connection.

Why pick a number?

Anyone who has your password can send a sign-in request to your phone, hoping you will tap approve by mistake. Because you have to pick the number shown on your screen, that does not work. Don't recognise a request? Tap It wasn't me - deny.

One app, many applications

Each linked application gets its own key and its own place in the app.

Works offline too

The six-digit codes are calculated on your phone itself. You only need a signal for notifications.

No tracking

The app only uses the camera to scan QR codes, and does not track you.

Dutch and English

The app speaks the language of your account.

For the password manager

Two-step verification for the WWWveilig password manager runs through this app.

For your own applications

Your own software can also use the app as a second factor, through the API.

For developers

Use WWWveilig as the second factor in your own application: push requests to approve or deny, six-digit codes and signed webhooks. Read the documentation or request an API key.
